Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY)

the biggest financial inclusion initiative in the world, was announced by the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 15thAugust 2014 from the ramparts of the Red Fort and launched by him on 28th August 2014 across the country. While launching the Yojana, the Prime Minister had described the occasion as a festival to celebrate the liberation of the poor from a vicious cycle.

Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY)

In May 2016, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MOPNG), introduced the ‘Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana’ (PMUY) as a flagship scheme with an objective to make clean cooking fuel such as LPG available to the rural and deprived households which were otherwise using traditional cooking fuels such as firewood, coal, cow-dung cakes etc. Usage of traditional cooking fuels had detrimental impacts on the health of rural women as well as on the environment.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY)

PMAY aims to provide affordable housing to low-income groups and has components like In-Situ Redevelopment, Credit Linked Subsidy, Affordable Housing in Partnership, and construction of beneficiary-led houses. Eligibility ranges from EWS to MIG. Application through the PMAY official website.

Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY)

PMFBY ( Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana) is a government-backed crop insurance scheme in India that aims to provide financial protection to farmers against crop loss due to natural disasters, pests, and diseases. The scheme was launched in 2016 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare and is implemented through a network of insurance companies and banks. It is the largest agricultural insurance scheme in the world, covering over 50 crore farmers and providing insurance coverage for over 50 different crops.

Ayushman Bharat Yojana (PM-JAY),

The revenue of government hospitals has increased due to the Ayushman scheme, patients are receiving better facilities. Previously patients hesitant to visit government hospitals due to the lack of healthcare amenities, people now flock to these hospitals as they trust them for treatment under the Ayushman scheme.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Swachh Bharat or Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Campaign Clean India) is a national level campaign by the Government of India covering 4041 statutory towns to clean the streets, roads and infrastructure of the country.
